News and other industry informationWe're heavily in support of the industries we serve. When so many of our green industry customers were in need of affordable workers' compensation coverage we quickly responded with a program, The Texas Green Industry Workers’ Compensation Group, that offered substantial savings and other benefits for qualifying business owners with strong safety records. Furthermore, we designed the program as an open program allowing all Texas agents to place their qualified customers in the group and benefit. The TGI-WC Group is a Texas Department of Insurance (TDI) approved purchasing group that is open to most irrigation and landscape contractors, nurseries, growers and other green industry businesses. The group provides qualifying members with an immediate 10.9% premium discount. Eligible policyholders can also earn an additional 12% discount by participating in Texas Mutual Insurance Company’s workers’ compensation health care network. You'll hear about our programs often!
